Twenty-Seven Years AND STILL GOING STRONG!

Mighty Oak Players, The community theater group of Monroe Township and a division of the Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission, was originally formed in 1989 as an extension of the Township Recreation Department, and named after the oldest recorded oak tree standing on Applegarth Road since the 1600’s.

Mighty Oak Players are dedicated to affording  new opportunities to people of all ages for participation and growth in theater arts. The group has endured with the combined energies of many people who enjoy investing their time and talents and passion into Live Theater. The strength of Mighty Oak Players lies in our commitment to foster the growth of community involvement, serving diverse creative people with the development of quality performances.

Under the Leadership of Maria Naumik, Mighty Oaks have provided Community Theater,  Local Stars Variety Shows, and  for our “acorns” Children Theater workshops and camps. With much enthusiasm, high hopes and even higher expectations we look forward to our future in Monroe Township.
